Who are we? DANAWARES is a Montreal-based company with
its office, showroom and warehouse facility located just 10 minutes
away from P.-E. Trudeau Airport.

In business for 20 years, we currently have 30 full-time, in-house
employees and 18 outside sales reps covering every corner of Canada.

Over the years, we have learned a great deal about the Canadian
market and how to be successful in it. Because this market is truly
unique, it cannot be approached in the same manner as one would
approach American or European markets.

Twenty plus years in business has also earned us a reputation for
having a wide range of new, exciting and constantly evolving product
that is protected by license, trademark, patent or by exclusive
distribution in Canada. Retailers know to look to us when they
want the latest and greatest!

How do we do it? Our business is actually 2 pronged. We have
a number of Merchandise Licensing Agreements under which we
conceptualize, design and create new product and bring it to market.
We also act as distributors for a number of companies who recognize,
and now benefit from, our unique and advantageous positioning
within Canada.

Our Sales team and our Creative team work together, sharing their
expertise with each other to ensure that our products answer a market
need, the packaging meets the retailers’ needs, and the product is
priced right.

We have brought Backyardigans puzzles, games, pillows, placemats,
room decor to the Canadian market. These products were developed
at Danawares.

Since we are well positioned in the Canadian market, we also
distribute licensed, patented or otherwise protected products. Often,
our licensors ask us to distribute their other licensees’ product in
Canada. This allows us to offer an even wider selection of exclusive
product to our buyers, while helping the companies for whom we
distribute to drive up their sales in Canada.

Our philosophy dictates that we serve all of our customers equally.
This insures that all our customers keep coming back and are lasting
and valued customers.
